Chives grow in clumps from underground bulbs and produce round, hollow leaves that are much finer than onion. They have a very mild onion/garlicky flavor, that doesn't tend to leave a long aftertaste. Use it to accent any dish! A perfect addition to soups, dips, mashed or baked potatoes, fish, seafood dishes, and omelets. Next time you make fried rice, slice it thinly and sprinkle it on top!
