The Corn Dish

Rice ramen w/herbed butter, roasted okra, tomato basil caprese salad, & fresh corn.

This year we grew some corn for a small trial and it was extremely delicious…. Unfortunately, the raccoons got to it, so we only managed a meal and a few snacks out of it. At least we know we can grow it and it was very good!

Roasted Okra

Toss okra with some olive oil, thyme, oregano, parsley, salt, onion & garlic powder. Lay flat on a cookie sheet and roast at 500 degrees for about 20-25 min depending on how crispy you enjoy it. If needed, give it a stir or two to evenly roast the sides.
